AION MED Generator Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 25, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how aion consultaion ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with your use of our AION MED Generateur Chrome Extension (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:
-
Authentication Information: When you create an account or log in, we collect your email address and password. This information is managed securely through Google Firebase Authentication.
-
User Settings: We store your in-extension preferences, such as your selected practice type (location_type) and number of patients (patientCount). This data is saved to your user profile in our database (Google Firestore) to customize your experience.
-
Website Content & Health Information: The core function of our Service is to analyze medical notes. When you use the "Analyze" feature, the extension reads and transmits the text of the medical note from your active webpage to our secure backend API. This may include patient age and other details contained within the note. We make efforts to process this information without collecting direct patient identifiers like names.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:
-
To Provide the Service: We use your login credentials to authenticate you. The medical note text is processed by our AI model to generate the suggested billing codes.
-
To Personalize Your Experience: Your saved settings (location_type, patientCount) are used to tailor the analysis to your specific needs.
-
To Improve Our Service: We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our AI models and service functionality.

3. Data Sharing and Transfer

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share data in the following circumstances:

-
Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate our extension. This includes Google Firebase for authentication and database storage and Google Cloud Run for hosting our backend API. These providers are only permitted to process your information to help us provide our Service.
-
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your data. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to safeguard your information during transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Retention
We retain your authentication information and user settings for as long as your account is active. The medical note text sent to our backend for analysis is processed ephemerally and is not permanently stored.
